Get to know Tara

Growing up in Rocky Mount, Virginia, Tara has always been passionate about the arts. Whether it be journalism and photography for two newspapers, student stage directing for her high school’s theatre company, hosting her own art show with 16 pieces of art, and being featured in William King’s Museum of Art student exhibition, she has truly dabbled in every art form.
Tara started tattooing in October 2023 shortly after arriving at Mischief Ink. She wants the world to know how happy she is to call Mischief Ink her home.
Tattooing has been Tara’s saving grace and has brought so much joy to her life. Sentimental tattoos are some of her favorite to do because they are like therapy for the people who need them. It fills her heart with pride to provide art for folks that trust her with a, sometimes vulnerable, but always rewarding, process. Meeting new people from all walks of life is one of her favorite parts of the job.
She also loves to tattoo florals and designs from her flash sheets.
Her hobbies include spending time with loved ones, playing board or video games, and rewatching her favorite shows and movies. Tara spends most of her free time working on new flash sheets or drawing for clients.
